Louisa Took Over Ownership

Louisa added '& the sunflower' to the name and each lovely lady who has owned the shop since has taken over the role as Babsi.

Anna-Mart Took Over Ownership

Anna-Mart embraced the Babsi passion and continued to ensure the company bloomed.

Alexis Took Over Ownership

With a passion for flowers and the Garden Route, she decided to settle in George and become a floral business woman.

Wendy Took Over Ownership

Wendy takes her role very seriously as the new matriarch of the flower shop.

Wendy

This new era of Babsi and The Sunflower is no different, Wendy takes her role very seriously as the new matriarch of the flower shop. She has a passion for service, creativity in her heart and a business mind. We are sure to get some great flower specials on the Garden Route.

Melanie

Melanie has been with Babsi and The Sunflower since 1996. She has many years of experience in floral arrangements and today is our head florist. Her passion and incredible talent for flower arranging shines through in every arrangement.

Karla

Karla is a proud mamma of 2 and our go-to-lady of the flower shop. She is learning the trade and has lived in George for some years now. She takes all the orders; ensures they’re delivered as promised and lends a helping hand whenever it’s needed.
